Aubrey ISD faculty and staff were welcomed back for the 2024-2025 school year on Aug. 7, 2024 in the Aubrey High School auditorium with the theme: Bridge to Belonging.
Multiple performances across multiple cultures were on display, including interactive ones that got Chaparral family members involved.
Keynote speaker Todd Whitaker delivered a dynamic address as well.
Student features included 8th grade emcee Makayla King of Aubrey Middle School, Aubrey High School Drumline, Aubrey High School Cheerleaders, Aubrey High School Choir and a performance by Aubrey High School's first-ever dance team, The Chaparettes.
