National Arts in Education Week: Today, we celebrate the fine art of music. Music possesses the remarkable ability to alter the way our brain processes information.

National Arts in Education Week continues with these 7th grade artist. Albert Einstein had this to say of the importance of Art, "Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere."

Aubrey ISD Celebrates: National Arts in Education Week Today's showcase the artistic talents of AMS art teacher Ms. Norman's students. Their impressive works include origami creations, tie dye designs, and skillful drawings. #nationalartsineducation

On Monday, September 11, 2023, the inaugural meeting of the Aubrey ISD Aspiring Leader Academy was held. This first cohort consists of an impressive 40 Aubrey ISD staff members. Leading and developing the academy is Deputy Superintendent Terrie McNabb, who is passionate about nurturing future educational leaders in the district. The meeting started with greetings from Superintendent Dr. David Belding, followed by leadership lessons delivered by Assistant Superintendent Dr. Shannon Saylor.

Aubrey ISD Celebrates 2023 We are excited to begin Arts in Education Week by featuring Olivia Busse, a talented 6th grader. Olivia is in Art 1, where she is studying primary colors and exploring the works of the renowned artist Piet Mondrian. #nationalartsineducation

Aubrey ISD administrators attended the PointBank Business Breakfast where Superintendent Dr. David Belding was the featured speaker. Dr. Belding provided a district update that included detailed growth information regarding Aubrey ISD students and staff, a TEA accountability ratings overview, 2022 bond information and construction projects that are in progress. Many expressed their appreciation for Dr. Belding and his leadership in Aubrey ISD. Dr. Belding is currently the lone finalist for superintendent in Midlothian ISD and will be leaving Aubrey ISD later this month.

Deadline approaching! Homecoming shirts are available on MySchoolBucks until Sunday, September 10th. They will have the names of the Marching Band Members, Varsity Football Players and Cheerleaders. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to ddooley@aubreyisd.net.

The Aubrey Varsity Football game against Arlington Seguin will start at 7:00pm on Friday, September 8th at Chaparral Stadium. AAYSA participants must be lined up by team/squad in the north end zone by 6:15pm.
